can i put oil in empty gelatin or vegetariancapsules? the answer is yes, with exceptions. today we're going to show you how to put coconutoil into empty capsules. the oil can't contain contain any water at all, even trace elements of waterwill start to dissolve the capsule, making it spongy. so what we're going to use is coconutoil. one of the nice things that i like about coconut oil is that it melts and solidifiesat a really reasonable 76 degrees fahrenheit, or 24 degrees celsius. meaning that it's reallyeasy to handle at regular room temperatures. you're going to need some coconut oil, thenyou'll need a cap-m-quik capsule filling machine, an inexpensive eye dropper, some empty gelatinor vegetarian capsules; we recommend empty caps company brand. three clean bowls andpaper towels or napkins something that will
help you wipe up any excess spillage of theoil. to begin place all your items on your workspace. now unlike filling powders, you'llset your capmquick a little lower than would normally to expose the bottom half of thosecapsules. separate your capsules and place the larger end in the capmquik tray. thenone by one, using the eye dropper, fill the capsules, leave a little dip so that the lidswill go on easily. if there's too much liquid in there, and you try and close those lidsit'll be kind of "springy", it won't click shut all the way, so you want to leave justa little bit of space in there. fill each capsule individually until you've got themall done. take the entire tray and put it in the refrigerator or the freezer. you canput the caps on more easily and clean them
